Elementary Administrator, Shanna Helmke, will share updates and discussion items in regards to North Linn Elementary.

Activities Director, Brian Wheatley, has submitted a written report providing updates on North Linn activities and athletics.

Melissa Wheatley and Megan Rawlins will be presenting on North Linn’s current Talented and Gifted Services provided by Extended Learning Program.

601: Receive Special Education Modified Allowable Growth - Exhibit 601.1

MOTION to approve the 2026-2027 Special Education Modified Allowable Growth in the amount of $212,724.77.

The amount we are asking to approve is the deficit amount from our special education expenditures.  Without approval, this amount would be pulled from our general fund.  With approval, we have the additional authorized authority to ask for this in our cash reserve levy.

 

602: Fundraiser Approval Exhibit 602.1

MOTION to approve the fundraiser requests from the Junior Class for the online auction and Edgewood Locker meats, from SkillsUSA for custom made items, Band/Choir to sell cookie dough to raise money for their upcoming trip, from Robotics to produce and sell Homecoming buttons, and Activities Director to solicit business and community sponsorships for the purchase and installation of a new baseball scoreboard as presented.

The North Linn Community School District maintains a Talented and Gifted (TAG) Program Manual outlining the district's procedures for identifying, serving, and monitoring students who qualify for TAG services. The Board is being asked to review and approve the current TAG Program Manual for implementation.
